Are you doing blowouts this fall?

What if a hard freeze is forecast before my date?
We'll text you and move you up as early as we can. Winter Protect customers are moved first. Until we get there, shut off the water to your sprinkler system and wrap the backflow (the brass pipes above ground) with a towel or cover. It's the first part to freeze.
What pressure do you use?
We use commercial air at a safe, controlled pressure for residential systems. Too much pressure can crack fittings and heads just like ice can, so we never blast a system at full compressor pressure.
Do I need to be home?
No, as long as we can reach your backflow and controller. We'll text you when we're done.
What does Winter Protect include?
Everything that keeps your system from freezing: every zone blown out, an insulated cover on your backflow, insulated covers on up to two outdoor faucets, and garden hoses disconnected. If we spot anything broken while we're there, we'll tell you.
What should I do before my blowout date?
Shut off the valve that feeds your sprinkler system, set your controller to off, and disconnect garden hoses. If a hard freeze is forecast first, wrap your backflow (the brass pipes above ground) with a towel or cover.
What is a blowout port and do I need one?
It's a permanent air connection on your sprinkler main line, after the backflow. Without one, we have to find another place to connect, which can be slower and harder on your system. If your home doesn't have one, we can install it for $175 ($155 for plan members), valve box included. We'll check first and only install it if you need it.
Is a blowout included in a plan?
Yes. The Essentials and Water With Ease plans include your fall blowout, plus a spring startup and system check. Billing starts at your spring startup.
How does the neighbor deal work?
When 3 or more homes on your street book the same day, each one gets $10 off. Put your neighbors' addresses in the notes.
